Maurizio Martinelli

Born in Trento in 1959, graduated in architecture at the IUAV in Venice in 1987.

Here between 1987 and 1990 he worked as Research Assistant at the IUAV within the course of Design and Visual Communication – Workshop “Mediaterraneo” (Prof. G. Morpurgo).

He works in the field of interior design and furniture design with his wife arch. G. Dorligo  participating in several exhibitions and international competitions.

In 2000 the umbrella stand “Umbrella”, designed with architect G. Panizon, is awarded the Good Design Awards, which is selected for the permanent collection at the Chicago Athenaeum Museum.

Between 1995 and 2001 he collaborated with arch. G. P. Bartoli and R. Dambrosi on various works in the field of architecture and restoration, until in 2001 he becomes an associate partner of starassociati.
