The apartment has been thoroughly re-designed in order to enhance its spatial and functional characteristics and implement the energetic performance.
The organization of the spaces is generated by the trapezoid outline: the central corridor, that leads to the various rooms of the flat, works, at the same time, as an separation between the night-zone and the living space. The first, with two master bedrooms, wardrobe and guest-bathroom, is oriented to the east, while the living space, composed of a rational kitchen space, corridor with pantry-cupboard and a further, more ample bathroom, overlooks the historic Basevi Garden.
Connective spaces (corridor and living) are equipped with sliding doors and stone floor, while the rooms are covered in wood.
The bathroom is realized in Carrara marble and mosaic of different sizes, while the main bathroom, largest, is covered in resin and porcelain stoneware.
External windows, which provide a lot of light to the rooms, have been performed on the original design with restoration of the shutters and with an improvement of the insulation characteristics.
The apartment also has new hydro-thermo-sanitary and cooling systems.
