VIALE MIRAMARE

The apartment, located in a late 19th-century building in the historic center of Trieste, underwent a series of modifications aimed at rationalizing its internal distribution, according to the needs of contemporary living, in order to create larger spaces.

Through a shrewd use of the pre-existing volumes, it was possible to obtain a very functional subdivision of the rooms, with all the necessary comforts.

The pivotal point of the project was the clear separation of the living area from the sleeping area: the former, a large open space with a kitchen delimited from the living room by full-height sliding partitions, is the most representative part of the house, with its large windows overlooking the Miramare avenue and, beyond, the Gulf of Trieste; the latter, characterized by two double bedrooms with dedicated bathrooms, is placed in a quieter and more reserved position towards the inner courtyard.
